The name Mashunna was created by Marquita Reynolds in 2008 named after her children. She wanted to make a better life for her family. Marquita started with selling clothes on websites, such as Ebay and Poshmark. It wasn't working out as planned,  In 2018, she was in a car accident and received payment for it. She then came up with an idea of making her own makeup company named, Mashunna collection. She worked hard to assure that all her products are CRUELTY FREE,  MINERAL BASED AND PARABEN FREE. "I have sensitive skin myself so the products i used was important to me" stated Marquita in a YouTube video. It will start off with lip gloss and will have other makeup must haves in the near future.
